We often get asked where to find your processor code, so here is a short tutorial that I created to help anyone out who doesn't already know where to find their PCM code.

1. Open the hood.


2. Look towards behind the passenger headlight.

3. There will be a black rectangular box, that is the fuse box.


4. To the right of that will be a metal-looking tapered ‘box.’ (that 'box' is the PCM)


5. On the side of that ‘box’ (PCM) will be a 4-digit code (such as ABC5). It will not be a part of the barcode. (mine is GYX1)


Sometimes you will get lucky and they will have put the code right on top of the PCM.

 

Mine was not located in that spot. It was on the other side of the PCM, inbetween the fuse box. Pita to find for a first timer.

Mine is M.I.A. but nothing a tuner couldn't find.
