You are definitly going to have to go with the body shop route. There is no way that paintless stuff will work on stuff that big

I don't know if its an illusion but that one ding looks more like a crater. For less severe dings you could try the heat gun and freeze spray trick. Heat it up then spray it with air in a can or something that comes out cold. Some dings pop right back.

Look it up on You Tube.

About a year ago I had hail damage to every body panel except passenger door and left front fender on my GT. Insurance took care of the $1800 for repair, minus deductable. They were able to use PDR on everything. Had a couple good sized dents on the hood, but not quite as big as yours from what I see in the pics. I tried to run out and cover the car with some thick blankets but had to retreat back inside after taking a couple of shots in the head. NWS reported 1-1/2" dia. hail in my neighborhood.

The Mach is actually in the garage... We've got 5 people living in a 1200 ft2 house with no basement... so there's no way to get another car in the garage other than the Mach...

My daughter was working in Maryland Heights last night when it all came through. Her car had a glass roof, emphasis on "had". The hail was so hard that it punched baseball sized holes through it. I hadn't personally seen where hail busted windshields 'till last night, not I have.

Good luck
I have a glass roof and although I've never seen hail like that here in Denver, it has apparently happened before i moved here....at least I know now that the glass roof can't take a severe beating. I do keep mine garaged but usually weather like that, you dont get a lot of notice that its coming to begin with.

Got a check for 2 large for fixing up the dings... they think all of it will be handled by PDR..

Got 500 for the hood alone.. was thinking about the AM 71-73 style Mach 1 hood. Anyone done one of these? Fit / Finish ok?
