Default Throttle Body or Coils?

Yes I know you only get about 5-10 horsepower from each of them, but if you had to choose between the two which would you choose and why? Its really the only other 2 things I can do to try and get some more power.

Or do you have any other suggestions for around 400-500 bucks for a lil more power???? Besides the boss haha

Neither. TBSs and coils are just expensive paper weights. Go for a AM Tuner/
CAI combo.

Or, if you want to insist on being boneheaded, you might want to replace your muffler bearing, radiator shaft, and be sure and get some oil in your tires while youre busy with the TBS and coil...

Um thanks for the input???

I have the cai and tune already, asking about a throttle body, not the spacer.

Throttle bodies aren't worth the hassle, and aftermarket coils have a horrible rep as well. I'd skip on both unless you're literally wanting to waste the $500. No reason to call you boneheaded, though.

What all do you have? Just the CAI and tune? Exhaust?

You could shop used headers/midpipe combo. You can get one for around $500 if you look around on forums.

*You can for the 4.6 3V. Not sure about the 5.0.

I'd avoid throttle bodies for sure. I know from what everybody has ever pitched in, TBs don't really add any power and often come with a bunch of hassles.

I'd think about saving a bit more and going for some headers, personally. Or wheels/tires, suspension, etc. There's so much on my list I'd do haha.
