Random small things that other cars have and Mustangs should have

I agree with you 100% on that... technology has been around forever on that yet the 05's don't have it... I do notice tho sometimes I forget to turn off the interior overhead lights when I am trying to find stuff at night and when I come out the next day to start my car the lights come on and I have to turn them off, so obviously it turns the inside lights off after an extended period of time... Now would it do the same for the exterior lighting, I've never tried that

Trunk release would have been nice but I can do without auto lights. Never did care for them. I'd like an upgraded rear view mirror with temp gauge, direction, etc. and Hood struts should be standard!

I learned to drive a stick in a 1983 Porsche 944. The mustang has a ton more power, but the quality of the car in that Porsche is to that day something I miss. The tranny, the way it cornered, even w/o ABS and power steering. That was one awesome car.
This is more nit picky but in my 09 I cant put anything in the friggin cup holder because if I do it screws up my reach for the stick. I also find myself wishing the interior was better (2010+) quality.

Cup holders have always sucked in mustang when you have a manual trans. I've owned a 07 and now a 12. Steering wheel controls, auto headlamps, trunk release in car. I missed all that in the 07. Ford has been stepping up 112 more HP is where it's at.
I would give up all the amenities for another 38 HP
My wife’s Tahoe opens the lift gate by: button in front, key fob and button on lift gate. Her car was 4K less than mine, but 4 years old with 48K miles.
