Could be MAF related. Maybe the throttle body needs cleaning also.

Yeah, clean the TB, clean the MAF. Have you ever replaced the alternator? They go bad and do weird things.

Need more details of the symptoms. Started dying how? Completely cut out quick? Was chugging then died? Were you able to restart right away?

When it dies it goes pretty fast. There's no chugging. And I can start it right away but unless I give it gas it just dies again. I parked it and let it sit for a few mins and it started up just fine but after it ran for about 2 minutes everytime I let the clutch out it dies. Even with the ebrake on

I'm cleaning the TB and MAF today. I'll let you guys know if it works or not. Hopefully that's all it is.

Maybe a clogged fuel filter, bad fuel pump or clogged fuel lines.
I had an issue with my Ford Explorer sport. While waiting at a stop light/sign, I had to keep my foot on the accelarator or it would stall out. I barely made it to the shop to get it fixed.

TB and MAF cleaning, new fuel filter, a tank or 2 with SeaFoam, check the plugs...

+1 on TB & MAF.

Mine died at the light, and had unintended acceleration too. After a new TB everything was back to normal. And she runs faster than she ever did before.

Getting any codes? Could be a bad TBS (throttle body sensor). When mine went, the car went into limp mode.
