Default Clutch slipping?

Does it sound like my clutch is slipping in this vid? I made it to showcase the new headers and someone told me it sounded like my clutch is slipping. If so, how bad does it sound and what does it mean?
EDIT: I think he was referring to the 1-2 shift. After a little reading, I think that I just lost traction for a second and didn't notice it. If the clutch was slipping, the engine would be revving higher, right?

Here's how to tell.
Drive on a road that has an uphill on it.
When you start going uphill change gears and start to accelerate.

If you notice the RPM's are going up but you do not seem to be accelerating like you do normally along with the RPM rate, then your clutch is slipping.

If this happens it's time for a new clutch buddy!

A video of the RPM and MPH gauges while you do this would help us judge.
If you do this do NOT hold the damn camera while you are driving. That is dangerous!

P.S. get your car to about 55-60 mph when you do this. I find this to be the best speed to tell if its happening.

I can think of a few times that I've done something like that while driving and haven't noticed anything. What will a slipping clutch do?

In short it means your clutch is going to go out.
That means no more clutch.
That means your car will not be going anywhere.

You HAVE to replace clutch's with time.
Plus, severe clutch or flywheel damage (which is part of the clutch assembly), can damage or ruin your transmission if you have certain issues in the clutch assembly.
Most of the time though when a clutch goes in normal driving and not tracking the car... the clutch just goes.
But regardless, if it is slipping you want to replace it before you end up on the side of the road my friend.

Well I'm almost to 30k on the odometer so I should have a while left I would think. And I'm probably 315-320 rwhp tops so that shouldn't be a big factor.

Really it just depends on how the clutch is driven.
You need to test it like I said to find out for sure.

I'll have to look for a good hill. it's pretty flat around here. If I were to need a new clutch, is there a recommended one?

I do remember some models of the ROUSH had clutch problems prematurely.
They used a certain SPEC model clutch that was NOT a good clutch.

Whatever you do... if you replace it. I would NOT go with a SPEC clutch.
I had a NIGHTMARE with one in our 06GT. MANY people on this forum have had the same experience.
If you go aftermarket. I suggest either Mcleod or EXEDY

Mcleod is EXPENSIVE.
EXEDY is GREAT and a lower price.
That is what we went with in our 06GT and it was an AWESOME clutch.
Ford Racing puts EXEDY clutches on their racing Mustangs.

Noted. But just to clarify, you can't tell if the clutch is slipping from the video? IE the other guy didn't know what he was talking about?

EXEDY or Mcleod.

Again... I would NOT get a SPEC clutch no matter what a shop or store tells you.
I did not heed this advice after talking to members on this forum that warned me after a couple of shops said they were fine.
I paid for not listening to the members of the forum BAD.
