Default Need Help

I was removing my axlebacks and everything was going good till I got to the last 13mm bolt on drivers side. It will turn in both directions but it doesnt seem like its tightening or loosening.

whats on the backside? If there's a nut on there you could use a wrench to hold it in place while you unscrew the bolt.

theres nothing on the backside, last time I removed them I didnt have this problem. Theres no room for a wrench theres only a small hole you can stick your finger threw but you can feel the end of the bolt.

so its just spinning in place with nothing holding it in. That's kinda odd. The next thing I would try then is pulling down on the bolt hard while trying to unscrew it.

Im confused cause its the only bolt holding the muffler in place. Ive been trying all morning lol. I didnt try pulling down on it but I did try pushing up on it and unsrewing it and its not tightening or loosening just turning forever.

Yeah I would just pull down and turn it to try and get it out of there. But, something is stripped so putting it back on probably won't result in a tight fit. New part needed perhaps?

Angle grinder, cut off tool, hacksaw blade, whatever will fit. Probably a carriage head bolt that has turned and ruined the square slot it fits into. You might mess with it all day, just cut it and start over.
