Searched the forms, but couldn't find an answer. I disconnected my battery to work on '09 ragtop. Put in turn signal mirrors from CDC. Didn't do anything to the radio, other than disconnecting the battery. After reconnection the battery, I knew I would lose my presets. Satellite radio, and AM/FM all works great. If I push CD, 1st it will check for disks, (3 disks in it) and then it will say "intializing" for a few seconds, then go back to whatever station was previously on. Sometimes it will say "CD Error". Sometimes it will make a "clicking" noise, like it's searching for CD's. Randomly it will show "000000" even if the radio is off. I assume this is the readout that their are no disks in the system, even thought there are 3. Someone suggested I disconnect the battery again, and see what happens. Second verse, same as the first....Anyone got an idea, or suggestion as to where else I may look???

PS Mirrors work great, can't tell they on it unless they're flashing....

 

Update.......The "000000"s come on anytime you open the door. Even if the radio is off.....

 

Those units screw up like that, mine didn't work right so I just replaced it with an after market one, that's honestly the cheaper route. You can take it back to a dealership and they charge like $100 to flash the programming (so I was told)
