I am not sure if it is in the earlier models but, it is the camera that is in the rear-view mirror. Well, they should have made it a bit smaller <sarcasm>

Geez what a waste of $300. It was on the car so I got it but would never opt for it otherwise.

 

It was an option on my 2010 as well, no way I'd be able to see what was displayed.

 

youd appreciate it if you looked up and saw a kid behind you...my little camera saved his life.
