Default Help with under conversion

So today I was looking around and I decided I would REALLY like to put the boss front fascia bumper on my 2011 v6. Does anyone have a write up on how to put this on because I saw somewhere that it's ment only for 5.0s.

Can anyone tell me how to do this and how much it will cost?

didn't see when you joined...welcome to MF...ALOT of people have put CS bumpers on non-CS's, so I'd say it do-able...I haven't seen a write up on this particular subject, but am sure it's out there...If all else fails ask our resident body man expert...handle = pascal...

also, check out the local thread...some cool shows/meets coming this summer...oh, and pics of ride please...

The front bumper cover on the V6 is different from the front bumper of the GT/Boss/GTCS. The front fascia that comprises the BOSS/GTCS look will fit a GT bumper, but not a V6. If you upgraded to a GT bumper then you would be good to go.

That said, if you switch your front bumper, you will also need to change your grill as the V6 grill is not compatible with the GT bumper.

If you really want this then your only limitation is your pocketbook. If that is a problem, maybe some salvage yards will have the parts of a rear ended GT available.

Good luck.

You need a 10 to 12 GT front bumper to be able to change the lower clip to adapt the Boss splitter
