Default Short Shifter?

I recently drove my friends mustang and after using his Hurst short throw, I absolutely hate my shifter. Any recomendations on a good one to get for a 2006 V6 Mustang? I dont need it for racing or anything, obviously since i drive a V6, but i would like something with style and alot of life for a good price

Get a Hurst? If you liked it, get it I have a Hurst Billet Comp Plus in my Mustang and absolutely love it. Whether you're slamming through the gears or casually driving its an awesome shifter. 200 bucks if you can do it yourself. And a max of an hour install at any shop if you don't.

No............MGW will send sound deadening material to use when you install it. The material goes on just like tape and they send plenty. The instructions will show you where to put it.

My MGW is as quiet or quieter than the stock shifter.
