Odd things are not adding up with numbers...
Even though that's probably much closer to accurate, I'm going to assume you meant 35 mpg, in which case you need to take the car to ford to get the fuel economy readings fixed, because you aren't getting anywhere near 35mpg.
I'm assuming you are talking to me. If so thank you, the full mod list is in the garage under my profile.
Over a years time a good average will start to appear.
This weekly fill up data is very useful at watching
fuel use trends.
The OEM mustang fuel tank supposedly holds 16 gallons.
Only 15 gallons of this is available to the fuel gauge
sensors range of sensing. As well as the fuel pick-up.
The MSD dashawk shows fuel level as a percentage
of the 15 gallons it can read. The last gallon just
stays in the tank. 33% full equals 66% empty times
.15 (15 divided by 100) is 10 gallons and 10 gallons
is what it takes. This method is very precise and helps
with this pay before you pump carp. No more going
back in for your 'change'.
