I'm pretty excited to say I finally made a decision, and ordered my car yesterday.

2013 GT Premium Convertible Grabber Blue/Blue inserts on seats, Manual, Comfort Package, Security Package and Shaker 1000. The kicker is that to beat a competing dealership's price they will throw in white GT500 style stripes on the car for free!

So before I even get it, it's going to be looking awesome. Now I have two months to save for the down payment, and also save for mods. At delivery the plan is to have a GT500 spoiler dropped off before delivery so it also gets striped and installed, and 20" American Racing Torq Thrust M's in anthracite. This girl can't wait to get it and get modding!

But now I really gotta work hard on getting my GTO sold before the Mustang arrives.

 

Congrats! What made you decide on grabber blue? I love the inserts in the seats. A splash of color really makes the interior that much more sporty.

 

Well I really was into the Green, but as soon as my girlfriend saw it when we were looking, I think her retinas burned out. The grey which was the original color I wanted (for a Eleanor-like eventual look) was more boring than I expected. She really liked the DIB, but it was too similar in color to my GTO. Our neighbor has a grabber 2011 v6, and for that reason alone I hadn't thought about it, plus his base v6 didn't do the color justice. So we were thinking about maybe the dark red, but then last weekend we were at a local mall and there was a Grabber GT convertible there and that sealed the deal. We've been looking and really thinking it out for a few months, but never saw a grabber GT convertible, and we've been purely looking at convertibles.

I used to be a GM only girl, but an exgirlfriend had a '06 Mustang, and I always liked it, even if it really didn't compare as a muscle car to my GTO. That Mustang kinda changed my opinion a lot, and well, here I am.
