Black or white?
Personally, I had a white car for about 13 years straight. No way I'm going to get another white car because I got tired of looking at white. HOWEVER, white has been somewhat easy to keep clean. Black is a nightmare when it comes to keeping it clean, water spots.. dust.. you have to hand dry it every time when you wash it. I do like the white leather seats (but those can get dirty fast).
BUT the car shouldn't be if you like it because of price. You should like it for what it is. If there is any doubt, I would keep looking.

White vote here! It's not too bad to maintain. Just got over the whole pollen season here (only con I have). But let's face it, if the car was black and in pollen season, it wouldn't be a black car. Rather a yellowish-green car. Ew. The white is easy to appreciate with the black vinyls, but, I'm a little biased too ;p

you're concerned about white in Seattle? you should be more concerned about black.
neither are easy colors to maintain, but white hides paint flaws extremely well, and stays cleaner looking a lot longer then black.
my car is white and in Seattle.. zero regrets. it was my color of choice.

What turn signals are those? I've been on the seesaw between black/white ones. I have tint on the amber ones now but I don't want to have to keep redoing them after inspection. BTW very nice look, I can't wait to get a cowlhood.
+1 on the white car, my buddy used to complain about water spots on his black car compared to my white.
Entaille found one of the 4 sunny days per year in Seattle to take those pics, lol.
We enjoyed that area, but 2 years was it, we bailed out. Couldn't handle the constant crappy weather. Nice place overall though, I miss some aspects of it. Traffic was hell however....
I searched for a black car for 2 weeks, then realized that I would love it for about a day, and then would hate it after that. So I went with white just like all my other vehicles. We live on a dirt road and I know I couldn't keep a black one clean.
I agree though, his wheels really set his ride off. White gets my vote.
Performance White... because it's the fastest...
Plain white? Yeah, boring as hell.. but slap some accents on that blank canvas (doesn't even have to be black) and it's wow
oh and this is my white "dirty"... no wash for almost two weeks and just pulled off the freeway after driving an hour and half
