Good!! this means I have more options after I supercharge the car and blow the engine (just planning ahead, I'm sure it would happen with the way I drive haha).

I believe the 302 supports 800

outceltj - I would hold off on buying that driveshaft if you plan on getting a tranny. The 6060 will not match up to one for the stock tranny. It's too long. Sadly, I learned this $700 lesson too late....lol But hey, I still have awhile before I upgrade so at least I'll get some good use out of it.

Thanks for the heads up man I'll contact my builder and see what options I have

So people buy this, expecting to boost it? I'm surprised they don't show dyno numbers of each engine... would imagine that'd sell a lot more units. Maybe puts around 450whp?

Thanks guys! I guess I'll stick with the B302 since I don't plan to go over 700.

The 1,000hp limit means nothing to me, the 24 extra cubic inches is what would temp me to go for this block. Not to mention it is 9.8:1. I want to make the most horse power possible on 93 oct., so the bigger engine the better.

Like u couldnt see spending an extra 1k for that block. Since I'm never gonna take my car to that much hp
Not sure what I will eventually get out of her, but I hope to see a good kick in the pants from this swap. I've been hoarding parts for the last two years. I've gotten a set of FRPP CNC heads, Comp cams, Comp beehive springs, Metco fuel rails, FRPP throttle body, and the Steeda/Whipple 10 rib supercharger belt drive kit, along with a bunch of supporting parts like gaskets, retainers and such. Like you I'm sure that the tranny will be needing changed soon after. I hope to have the T-56 swapped into it sometime in late winter or early spring. The rear end is also getting a full make over when I head up to see them in August. Have you been up there to see the guys at Brenspeed before? They are a great bunch of folks to deal with. Their guest house is an awesome touch to the other services they offer.

Oh yea I've been there for all my performance upgrades. I'm from the area so when my car is there I just hangout with my parents. They r some good people. Chandler does a good job with customer relations.
