Default gear question

Hoping for a simple answer. I drove a 2011 gt manual with stock 3.73 gears. I am now looking at a 2012 with stock 3.31 gears. My question is significant differences would I notice in daily driving?

I would say yes, you will notice the difference since so many 3.31 owners upgrade to the 3.73's.... You'll likely get an extra mile or so of MPG, but the launch from a stop may feel slower since you have a shorter gear ratio.

There will be a significant "seat of the pants" difference between the 3.31's & 3.73's.....as BigD mentioned above, that's why so many people upgrade.

you'll get better gas mileage and the car will 'feel' slower, and jump into the power band a little slower.

drive both, back to back if you can, it's night and day.
