I do have some questions though...hopefully you guys can answer. When I look at the reviews on Youtube, I see mufflers at the rear of the car which are a round Magnaflow type. However, there were two other 2011 models on the lot when I bought mine, and they did not have these. All three, including mine, just looked like they had a "glasspack" sort of muffler system. Can anyone give me any insight to this. Forgive my ignorance, as I posted earlier, this is the first Mustang I have purchased. Thx for any help guys.

 

Given the year of Mustang, I presume it is used... That said, the previous owner may have had aftermarket axle back mufflers put on there... Post up some pics and maybe we can identify what they are... And not pics of just the tips but of the chamber section to....

Thats awesome to hear!! I was seriously considering an ls2 gto before my 5.0 but a gto in decent condition is a good 20k, that being said the technology under the hood is 6 yrs old, not to mention no warranty. Hope you enjoy your new ride!

Exactly about the warranty, Seth. I loved my G37, but it was going to cost me a lot of money to get a decent extended warranty for it. I just didn't feel it was worth it. This car is covered until 2016, as I will never reach 60K before then. My main vehicle is my 2001 S-10 that I use as my daily driver.

 

Pypes Bombs maybe? It looks like a muffler eliminator from those pics...

Two other 2011 GTs looked the exact same way. I don't get it. What are the chances of 3 GTs having muffler deletes/changes on a small car lot? Bear in mind, I'm not complaining....I'm just curious. It sounds like a BEAST!!!
