Default Getting Service

My car just hit 40,008km and should get suggested 40,000km service/maintenance. I dont get paid till august 5, the car says oil levels and everything is ok, can i use it this 10 days and commute around 120km or should i drive my moms car till i can afford service?

Manually check the oil level just to be safe but you should be fine.

The services are on recommended intervals depending on driving conditions, driving style, weather conditions, road conditions etc. Drive it until you can get the servicing and just keep doing your normal checks on fluids etc. Unless a check-engine light comes on or you notice something doesn't seem right, you are fine.

Most of those xx,xxx mile service items are not necessary unless you're **** to an **** person. And 75% of those items you can do yourself, even if you're a caveman. But maybe you should just leave your keys at home and ride the bus, just to be sure.

Alright now, we seem to be getting a little mean spirited around here.

Just some friendly ribbing. But if it bothers folks, I'm sure someone will offer to help pull their panties up.
