Default aint really lucky

i rarely take my care since im waiting to get my engine checked and everyone is in vacation, the car work well once it hot, i noticed a little leak of coolant under the car last week, my uncle changed the radiator for free..today i go grab a friend to show him my car and we head to the gym, I role like half a mile then notice lotta smoke getting out of my engine bay, quickly pull into a business parking, notice im SERIOUSLY losing a **** load of coolant, look on the street, left a nice green lane all over the street from my friend house to where I was, i pulled before the engine run hot, got towed, took a look didnt see where exactly the leak was, the ose looked ''ok''..cant imagine it be the brand new radiator leaking again...hopefully all this misfortunate situation will stop soon:/ will know whats up with this tommorow.

your car seems to be the prime example of why you never buy such a heavily modded car..

2005 models have plastic upper and lower thermostat housings and are known to crack and leak. Mine has been leaking off and on for some time now. It's on my list to get fixed! I am not sure if this would be the case with your car, just wanted relay.

Update, the radiator had a huge crack in it, brand new one, how come? With my engine issue lately where you can hear massive exaust back fire when engine is cold, seems like it put too much pression on the radiator, the good new is
having the radiator breaking again made My uncle go nuts and he said eff it and asked his mechanic to remove the engine and replace the heads, he said were so busy we never take the time but now we will, ur car will be ready monday.. That some good news for my wallet cuz i had a meet monday with another guy to get my engine removed and inspected woulda
Be minimum 600-1000$. Cant wait to try it monday see if i had some powers sleeping with the low compression on cylinder 6. Im close to have the car 100% fix and i will be able to sell it with no bad surprise for the next Owner, im done with heavy moded car

No offense, but it seems like every time your uncle fixes the car the problem remains or gets worse.

WERD!!!!! You know some inept mechanics! One decent mechanic could have pin pointed your problem with a compression/leak down test and pulling the F'n spark plugs.

Remind me never to break down in Canada!

For all you know it's the sh!tty tune the other idiot did who replaced your cams. You didn't have the backfiring before the cam swap right? He might not have set the timing up right, who knows.

totally agree on the tuner, dont know what happened and prolly wont know, but he ****ed up something...And yes I feel like I was set apart in all this **** with my uncle but I know he got so many car to get ready so everytime they just check it barely and say engine still good, last week they checked it, said compression is a bit weaker in two cylinder but nothing alarming, look like I might have rolled with a too lean or rich tune..he was like i really cant remove the engine atm,

but now that will be the second radiator he pay in 1 week, he also paid me back the 500$from the dyno and the 250$ for the shelby pump fuel wire check up from an electrician.. and now he finally removed the engine... think hes tired of delaying it and realising it way more expensive for him this way covering up the real probleme.

I think he was a bit **** off that i decided to remove the cams when he told me I should kept them on, and that seems to have caused the whole engine issue, we cant prove it was having real probleme before except a candle and a spark plug that were dead causing all my misfire n ****... I'll lets you know next week if they saw what was the real probleme while changing heads..

at the end, I know it my fault in some way, my uncle warned me this was a heavy modded car and did have lotta probleme before but all was supposed to be finally done, that I should check for another kind of car etc, but I was too much into the look it had and sounded so powerful, I am the worst mechanic that might exist on the planet, I kinda expected too much from my uncle ignoring the fact he got his business to run with only one mechanic for all the car he sell, of course I didnt expect to get that much probleme, but knowing nothing on modded car doesnt help at all!

Shelby next time, or a new 5.0 bone stock shall be way enough for me.good things i had help from you guys too!

the only things im not comfortable now is, once all this will be fixed, I'll be rolling on this new tune made by that fudge bar...not sure if it safe at the end, no way im going to see him again..i know another dynojet that do all kind of big hp car, he charge 450$ for 3 hours for a proper tune...dont know if it worth re-tuning it again!!!!!!!!!!

Before they loosen one head bolt, tell them to make sure it's timed correctly. They have to pull the front cover anyway.

I'd find a tuner that has experience with new mustangs, ask for references. If you can't find that I'd sooner run an email tune from brenspeed or vmptuning, any other online shop tune would be better than some hack who's never tuned these motors.
