Default Temporary license plate mounting solutions?

Well it's been 2 1/2 years without a front plate and I finally got stopped for it. Gotta put one on and have it signed off. However, I'm not quite ready to put screws through my front bumper to do it so who has ideas? Keep in mind this will only have to last long enough to pass an inspection and then will likely be ripped off. Hence, less messy solutions are more favorable. Go!

Get some of that 3M double sided tape stuff at Lowes that comes clean off when you pull the little tab/stretchy thing.

Craig's Custom brackets... Had one on my 2005 and it worked great... It can even be removed for car shows. I would recommend you invest in one of those...

I have a bracket that hides the screws that are supposed to go into the bumper so I was thinking of putting tape on there instead and just hoping that the inspector doesn't go up and tug on it.

I have used this, and it works fantastic. Leaves ZERO marks, no drilling, and holds on in triple digits.

Hah! Love that...I'll bet having no license plate hold up in even higher fan speeds. I'm heading down to the sheriff's station now with my bracket held on by some 3M picture hangers. We'll see if that stands up to their inspection...

Perhaps. It all held up rather well, aside from the outer edges of the plate bending back due to extreme wind.

I noticed the Caddy in your sig doesn't have a front plate, It's only a matter of time I guess...The good news is that I just got it signed off using the sticky hangers! Woohoo!
