Default Steeda lightweight radiator support?

Anyone know the weight difference between the stock radiator support and the Steeda lightweight radiator support? Thanks in advance!

Half the weight, about a 8 to 9 pound savings.

Its just a matter of weight reduction. BMR also makes one and gives you the option of eliminating the sway bar, drag race application. Looks like this one allows you to keep your sway bar. Steeds
makes good stuff.

I've read that the Steeda one sheds ~8lbs. The BMR one apparently removes ~11lbs., but you can remove the front sway bar assembly and bring the total to ~25lbs.

I wouldn't remove the front sway bar on a daily driver though..

I just checked BMR's site and they actually have a new radiator support that allows the use of a sway bar. Looks like it includes mounting points for the OE chassis brace or BMR CB004 chassis brace; which I can't find on their site. I might go this route since my plan is to get their tubular K-member later on.

Awesome! Thanks for the link. How long was the install? I'll be installing an Afco aluminum radiator, which has been sitting in my garage, when I get the BMR radiator support. Been wantin' to reduce front end weight ever since I got the Whipple.

Edit: Oh yeah and the CB004 brace is in prototype and will be released in the near future from what BMR told me this morning.

Nice to see BMR stepped up and finally made a brace with swaybar mounts. Took em a few years after we released ours that way.

Theirs is still DOM steel vs our stronger chrome moly alloy steel though.
