how much time does it take for a mustang gt to run out of gas after you fully fueled it , and the way i drive is not too fast and not too slow , i need a close answer if not sure 100% cuz im getting a mustang and wondering if i get a v6 i will be sorry for every time i press that gas to wish it was a GT , but if i get a GT then it may run out ot gas fast and that coast alot of money , so i wanna know how many time or days it takes to run out of gas.

 

you made about three of these threads. dontpush your luck with running out of gas, just get some before it gets that low.

it depends on how you drive. and how far you drive. ...how old are you? your sentences seem....off...

You can do the math yourself it seems..

 

u could get at least 384 miles to a tank if you were to average 24 miles to gallon. they have 16 gallon fuel tanks. just lil mathematics

 

8 to 9 days.

 

16 gallons (does the 5.0 have the same size tank as the 4.6?) times your average miles per gallon plus how far the car will coast from the time the engine quits until you come to a complete stop.

 

They both run out of gas at the same time...when it hits "E"! The car suddenly stops, then you will know...yes, i am out of gas!

There's also this handy little warning lite that pops on when you are 50mi to empty, so the car will give you plenty of warning as to when it's about to run dry.

seriously though...i have a GT with an aggressive tune (running 93 octane), which i DD and i'm filling the tank about once every 8-9 days.

 

About 3 hours. Assuming driving at highway speeds the whole time.

 

BTW gas is probably hell of a lot cheaper where your from then here thats for damn sure!
