can someone give me all the differents between saleen mustang and a ford mustang gt? :icon_bi ggrin: thanks
A saleen is a specialty car produced by Steve saleen in which they take a GT a put upgraded parts on it. For instance, it is basically in line with a roush, steeda, cobra.. etc. Consists of a supercharger, and i believe weighs less than other regular GT's.. Im guessing they tune up the suspension and throw on lighter parts, and different rims.
Im not as fimiliar with saleen mustangs as i am with roush mustangs. Roush mustangs come in 3 different stages.. 1, 2, and 3....3 being the most "sooped up" if you will. Hope this helps a little
Depends what year and model but basically. Body kit, suspension, supercharger (optional), brakes, rims, exhaust, seats, gauge cluster, built motor in some models.
I almost bought one before my 5.0, but my credit union will not finance them due to being a "special car" and the market for re-sale if repossessed. Since they do not finance that tells me don't buy unless I pay cash. lol

All it tells you is that your bank doesn't want to take the time to sell it as it would cost them more money to do so. You can't dump a specialty car to an auction house cause you would lose money there as well. So, your bank is looking out for themselves. They have little concern for you. I wouldn't let a bank decide which car I buy, that's my job.

I hear ya, but what I am getting at is....Exactly, they're looking out for themselves. Let's say I do get repossessed. The deficiency balance on a saleen vs. GT premium could be substantial.
They make millions I don't.... If they do not want to finance neither should I.
I am using your "let me google it" for the future...hahahah
