AC Knocking Sound
Yeah, my bad, didn't look at the one service manual link http://iihs.net/fsm/?dir=336&viewfil...let%20Duct.pdf, just points back to the air inlet actuator, and only lists the connector for the part, so ignore it other than as reference for where it is..
Sorry no I didn't have the time last weekend to get to it. I'm thinking I will this weekend though
No, I take that back, I was right. I just put up the wrong link for the one. Thought I double-checked that, so looking at it again...
It's FOUR (because it's the tekkk thing to do).
1.Temp blend door actuator.
2.Panel, Floor door actuator
3.Defrost door actuator
4.Air inlet door actuator
And just so I can more obnoxious..listen at 100%. Enjoy the memories:

Mine does this when switching from defrost to anything. AC to anything, no sound. Does that help eliminate any of the actuators? I haven't messed with this because it seems like a pain, but if some are easy to get to I may consider doing it.
Learn something new every day! That manual should be a sticky if it isn't already. I checked the one to the left of the glove compartment out of curiosity, which by the way at first I wasn't sure what to do because with the glove compartment down I didn't know how to access it. So I saw the slits in the side of the glove compartment and put 1 & 2 together, pushed in the slits and the glove compartment folded down. First time ever needing to do something like that so I never had to do it before, pretty interesting. Anyway, I pulled the connector to that actuator and it wasn't the culprit, but then I saw one above that one and pulled that one and ta-dah, bingo. I'll check with Autozone to see how much the part is gonna cost me. The bolts look reachable but might be a little difficult, but attainable is the key to this so I'll fix it.
Thanks guys.
Thanks guys.
Amazon and Ebay are the cheapest. Look on it for a more specific part # to verify with before you order anything.

I looked on Amazon, and I looked on Ebay. Looks like the total price shipped from Ebay is around $42+. Tousley Ford Parts sells it for around $23 but who knows how much to ship it. I didn't however find it on Amazon?
