Default Under Drive pulleys?

The Next Mod i was considering for my 08 GT was a set of UDP's i have been reading a little bit about them and understand that it helps the accessories life time, and also takes a little bit of stress off of the motor. i was just wanting some opinions on what people thought about them and experiences with them and if they like theirs.

Had them on my 09 GT & they caused no problems. I couldn't really feel that they did anything, but if they freed up 10hp I was fine with that. It all adds up. I got rid of the chg motion butterfly valves in intake too, which is supposed to yield another 10hp or so. 10 here & 10 there add up, you know?

UDP's will free-up about 3-5 RWHP but most people have a threshold where they won't feel much less than 5-10 additional RWHP. Unless you're sitting in stop-n-go traffic the larger % of your drive, UDP's have no negative affect on the accessories.

+1 ^ I felt a minor change in 1st and on the highway. Nothing too noticeable, but it's a cheap part and add's HP. < 10HP is all in your head if you can feel it I would not pay retail. Wait until a member has them in the "parts for sale" or ebay has them 50% off used.

OP, AmericanMuscle currently has a set of UD pullies on clearance price for 119.99. Currently out of stock but you can still order them.

http://www.americanmuscle.com/stack-...i-pulleys.html

You can also use your 6% MF.com coupon, or if you're special like me and got an email special, there is another coupon for 10% on clearance items.

I've done a lot of research on these and several people have done independent dyno runs and before/after UD pullies showed little to no dyno gains. Take it for what it's worth but I trust independent dynos more than dynos sposored by a brand.
