Considering the styling cues of our cars are over 50 years old... I'd say it's ok to do a 7-8 year throwback... just saying.
OP, I will be throwing a red pinstripe on my wheels when I get them so we can be ricky ricer together. |

Although dumping your V-6 would help a ton in making it look more aggressive, best of luck!

Ricey, sorry!

This can work very well, you just need a plan. As a few said lower it and do something with the front and it will start to work well.

scoops, wings and big hoods. My stock glasstop '09 fits my tastes and sense of style, but the beauty of our Mustangs is that there's something for everyone :) |
I think lowering it will make it look better.
For now, it just looks like you bought a wheel/tire package from the local tire store. |

LOL, the Mustang is only 48 years old, but point taken, although I don't think Detroit designers in 1962-64 were contemplating red lipped wheels, but then again, red line tires were the rage in the mid to late 60s.......
I just think the mustang community is very conservative when it comes to styling. Some things look good on all cars regardless of their origin on a map. Some things only look good on certain cars, but that's mostly crazy things like giant wings only look good on actual race cars, lifts only look good on 4x4 vehicles, etc. I came from the import community and think a lot could be learned from it when it comes to looks. (when you drive a 4 banger you HAVE to make it look good!) |
Could use a little lowering to help the stance but looks good
