I put the GT500 axle backs on my '12 GT and they sound great. Not loud when cruising, but the sound great when accelerating and decelerating. I looked at the other axle backs but most of them sound like an old truck with duel exhaust.

I have the Corsa Extremes on my 2010 GT, and love the sound at startup and WOT. Best thing is they are tuned to eliminate drone; so on the long highway drives it quiets down when cruising. You'll be up in th $500 range though.

I'm loving my Roush.

Since it's a matter of personal taste, and YouTube isn't the best way to judge, the best best is hook up with a local Mustang group & listen to what they have on their cars.

How is the Roush with highway drone on an automatic? I'm looking for an axle-back but I really want to avoid the drone sound when cruising on the highway.

Corsa Xtreme, off road H. Sounds great with stock H pipe, but is nasty loud with the O/R H.

I went with the Roush Axle back because of the deep bass rumbling sound I was looking for.. No drone when I'm driving about 120km. However, I just bought the BBK After-Catt X-Pipe, so I'm not sure how it will sound (and possible drone) once installed..
