Default Panhard bar Alignment

I'm looking into getting an adjustable panhard bar. I was just curious on the center alignment of the axle. Does the adjustable panhard come preset to center the axle or do you have to put it on an alignment machine to see how much you are dog tracking to the left or right? Or can you just take measurements on the ground and adjust it that way? Inputs would be great. TIA!

Hard to believe that using the fenders would be accurate, but I guess it's good enough. The correct way would be find the center line of the body and center line of the rear axle and align it so it's perpendicular.

when ur running wider than stock tires you really don't have a choice but to use the fenders....im running 285s and barely have any room on each side

Using the quarter's edge is fine...
Those cars are not far off enough to worry about the exact center of the body.
And besides, depending on what you do to your front end, all bets are off.

I've installed several adjustable pan-hard bars and used the fenders each time.

The plumb bob is the recommended method of measurement, and here's the bar I'd recommend:

Thanks for the suggestion UPRSharad. I wasn't sure which one I wanted to go for but this one seems like it will give me a lot more room for adjustment.
