Default dust sheilds

Are the V6 and GT/brembo dust shields the same size?

I don't believe so. I just bought the Brembo brake kit and it came with a new set of dust shields. About an inch bigger in diameter.

Does it matter if the dust cover doesn't cover the whole rotor?

Ideally it really should, other wise you run the risk of getting stones or other road debris caught up in there. They also help to keep water off of the brakes, so you really should run the correct size. Will it work otherwise - yes but i would not reccomend it.

The Brembo rotors are 14" so would need different dust shields.
