Default Aftermarket NAV

i'm thinking about picking up an aftermarket NAV system. i want to wait until i get my 2013 GT, but i wanted to see if any of you have done this process yet.

http://www.crutchfield.com/p_113DNX5...2#overview-tab

that's the one i'm looking at, and that site offers all the needed pieces. i build computers in my spare time so i think i could probably hook this guy up on my own, but for those of you who have done this before, should i have a profession do it? and the Garmin powered Kenwood seems pretty legit, any suggestions?

The one that came with my electronics pkg works great. I too have a 2013 gt no complaints. I would definitate wait until you get it. Check it out for a few days. That money could go to performance mods IMO..

you got that nifty GT CS, so you can get the stock ford touchscreen. i'm planning on getting a base GT with the track pack, and then puttin this kenwood system in it. to get to the ability to have the stock Ford touchscreen you have to get a GT premium, and then add on the nav screen option (roughly $2400). so not even including the upgrade to a GT premium, this kenwood is $1400 less (i'm counting the extra pieces not in my original link).

i figure going this route i'll save like $4-5k at least. jumping to the premium just to get a nav system is silly to me. altho my wife would love a leather interior hahaha.
