I just got my loudmouth axel back system for my GT. I was wondering what prices I should be seeing from shops to install them. Im not sure if i want to try and install them myself b/c i really dont no anything about it, and im not tryin to mess up my car.

 

It should take a shop with a lift less than a half hour to install. Try and find one that charges by the half hour. It's not that bad if you want to try it yourself. I found it a little tough getting the stock mufflers off, only due to tight spaces/angles etc. Putting the loudmouths on is very easy. You don't need to know anything about exhausts....just how to use a wrench.

 

Yeah, exactly what '05vert said. I installed mine in about 45 minutes. 20 minutes of which were trying to get the best angle taking off the stock cans. Putting the SLP's on are easy because they're not at all bulky.

If you still want to get them installed, I would think anywhere between $40 - $60 from any muffler shop.

If memory serves me right, all you need is a deep well socket, 13mm and 15mm....and also a 13mm wrench (there's one spot you can't get the socket into, deep well or not).
