Default JLT Oil Separator

This was recommended to me as a first/necessary mod. Something I need? I've done a search and found a lot of info on it, seems to make sense and be worth it; can't hurt I guess. Looks like I'll order one tonight.

Lol, I just posted how I prefer JLT for their catch cans.. Works great, one of the best.

Definitely not something you need though and better money can be spent if you're stock.. It's just helpful and if boosted then needed IMO..

Yep, I'm all stock for now. I know, I know... what a shame.

Unless you count the tinted windows, that has to be worth at least 10HP, right?

I was amazed at how much oil was trapped in the stock intake manifold of my '08 when the blower was installed. The engine was stock before that with only a CAI and tune. I think it is a good idea for even bone stock engines.

BigHutch,

I think it's definitely a great investment. In your engine, crankcase exhaust is re-circulated back through your PCV system and intake, taking with it large amounts of oil vapors. The catch can will definitely prevent any of these harmful vapors from re circulating!

I hope this helps, let me know if you have any questions!

Thanks! I do have a silly question. I assume that when the can collects "debris" you just simply dispose of it and re-install the can? The can never has to be replaced or anything in it correct? So essentially nothing else to buy?

Ordering one today!
