Default no drill license plate bracket

Hi,

Does anyone know where to get a good license plate bracket which doesn't require drilling into the front bumper?

thanks

For those with Craig's custom mounting bracket: Have any of you taken your car through an automated car wash with it installed? It says not to on his website, which I understand for liability reasons, but have any of you done it? If so, any problems? Thanks.

Sorry I can't say, I never use them. But if you really want to use a automated car wash removing the bracket takes all of about 3 minutes.

I have the same bracket as well. However, I don't care for it. I can't get the thing to sit straight on the car. It sits good, and looks good when I forst put it on, but after awhile, it leans forward looking like It wants to fall off. It does not stay very secure at all and seems to want to fall off. He has sent me a new one after I questioned it all. I've given up on it. I'd rather drill.

I had one of those brackets too (sold the car awhile back). It worked awesome for me. Never took it through a car wash though. You'd probably be okay in a no-touch wash, but if its invasive you're probably better off removing it. I never had trouble with sagging or leaning on my bracket.

Thanks guys. If I can literally take it off and on in 3 minutes, I am fine with that. However, I don't want to have to go through a 15 minute process when it's 35 degrees outside so I can get the car clean.

One quick question, will I need to have the car on ramps to get the bracket off and on? Thanks.

I have it on my GT500 and I think it's a slightly different bracket. I take it through a touchless carwash and have not had any problems with it sagging or misbehaving...then again...its only been on for like a month! I will say that it took me a good 15 mins to get mine installed because of the angle and I couldnt get one screw started properly. It might help to put the car on ramps, but its not necessary. You can do it at ground level easily enough.
