Default more audio problems

So I replaced my battery a couple months ago and I still have gotten the lights on the radio or my aux outlet to work yet and tonight my door subs stopped working all of a sudden. Anybody else had this problem or any thoughts on how to fix it?

Any chance your car has been in the rain lately and is your carpet damp by the passenger kick panel?

I think you consult with any automobile mechanic.

My guess would be by chucking the head-unit in the garbage. Get the diagnostic codes from the shaker/OEM unit. Hold buttons 3 + 6, then press 1 during the speaker test.

http://iihs.net/fsm/?dir=373&viewfil...o%20System.pdf (page 4+, page 3 has the instructions above to get the codes). From the sound of it, very likely code B1342 will be one of the ones displayed. If so, you'll need a new unit.

If you don't have much experience and/or headunit knowledge, then www.crutchfield.com, take a look at their selection, speak with a sales rep for what your price range is, and what features you wish to get out of a new unit.

One of the mid-range double-din pioneer touchscreen units would be my first recommendation.

They'll (crutchfield) will give you everything you need to get it in there but the few tools, solder, iron, crimp connectors/heat-shrink tubing, etc that will be necessary to install it yourself without much trouble(assuming you've done at least a little DIY work previously).
