The dealer is telling me 8 to 12 weeks.

How long did your order take?

He said that they MIGHT be able to put a rush on it. Told them not to worry. I would love to get the car a week or two before X-Mas.

 

I ordered mine on 6/29 and it arrived at the dealer on 8/22 - just under 8 weeks.

 

I ordered mine 9/19 looks like build date of 10/10.

 

The 8-12 weeks of anticipation will be priceless. Congrats and try not to order "too" many mods before the car arrives. LOL

 

Dealer is telling me it's now more like 6-8 weeks. He says the longer FORD gets into production the more "parts" are readily available.

As for mods....I won't be doing much. Won't touch the motor, but I'm getting louvers, leather in a couple years, and possibly some trim

Had a question and I'll ask in the appropriate "tire" forum, if there is one....what's the difference in having 18" vs 19" tires?

How did you get the ETA? I ordered mine a month after you and my build date is a day after yours. Seems like production is picking up there?

 

About an inch . That and slightly cheaper tires most likely.

 

Depends on dealer allocation and build priority. Also depends on the mustang as they build them in like batches.

There was a week or so vacation at the build plant last month, so that definitely "delayed" my timing, but my salesguy has been pretty right on estimating a 8 week, give or take a couple weeks.

Deysha is a customer service rep who frequents several forums. User name is something like "Ford Customer Service". PM her, or find the 2013 mustang orders thread and she will help you keep track. Not sure if I've seen that thread on this forum, but that's how I got my ETA.

Or just keep bugging your salesguy and they should help you track that too!
