Default Flywheel during clutch replacement

So back in the day, we used to flip or turn the flywheel to the other side when replacing a clutch. That was like 20 years ago on ford pickups and a cheap trick my FIL taught me. I see when folks are doing clutch replacements now they are sometimes changing out the flywheel with a stock replacement instead of flipping them over. Can you not do this anymore?

No, flipping the Flywheel doesn't work anymore on these motors. Either get your OEM one resurfaced (cheap $25ish) or purchase an aftermarket lightened fly wheel. Resurfacing could be completed while you wait. However, I drop a 2010 with a lightened flywheel and it was an unbelievable difference.
