Default Thumb Drive

How do I get the music/thumbdrive to play on the 13 Radio?

I think you put the music on the thumb drive and then place the drive in the USB and then click media on your radio. It should start playing. Do you have the electronics package?

Plug it in..then select source/USB in the media menu. Or read the manual.

Or you could tell Sync to find it. I think you have to go under "Aux" otherwise...least how it is on mine.

What brand and size thumb drive is anyone successfully using for this feature?
I usually play music through my phone (Bluetooth connection). I tried a 4GB Scandisk thumb drive and my system did not recognize it.

How is your thumb drive formatted? Fat32 or NTFS? I'm not familiar with the system in the 2013 but some systems don't like NTFS format.

That might be it. I can't get any music to play from the thrumb. I checked and its fat32. I must be doing something wrong when I transfer the music to the thrumb.

In my 2012 - Insert thumb drive into usb port. Press the voice command button on the steering wheel. When prompted say "Play USB" I think it then says "Play USB" (or something like that). Then I say "Play All" This works for me - YMMV.
