Default Fun with vinyl!

Lately I have been adding different things to my Mustang and I have used vinly to help dress-up some of the items. So far I have added 3M Anthracite carbon fiber vinyl to:

Dash
Window switches
Intake tube
Fuse box cover
strut tower brace (under the "GT" logo) custom made plate
"GT" badge on subwoofer box

they call that anthtracite grey? to me, that is a solid color, not a checkered carbon fiber finish. strange!

I call it carbon fiber wrap (or fake carbon fiber : P)

I apologize, it is anthracite carbon fiber wrap material. My mistake!

Oh nice, has a good clean look.

Did you have to cut out the vinyl yourself?

Yeah, I work for a shop that does vehicle wraps, signs etc.

A while back I had our installer do my roof and decklid panel in matter black. I had some scrapes and scratches on the roof and this was a great alternative to spending $700 bucks to get the bodywork done on it!

I'd like to wrap my dash too, but that is not easy to do without wrinkles and bubbles. vinyl seems kind of difficult to do properly

yours turned out well.

I like it! To add to the black/silver combo theme, have you considered smoke tinting your front amber turn signals and tail lights?

The dash came out well! Looks like you lined up the weave nicely! I've seen lots of vinyl wraps where that hasn't been done, which takes away from the clean look.
