Default Under Car Cover?

Does anyone make an under car cover? I'm probably paranoid but I worry about mice getting in during winter storage. I put a bunch of mothballs around and under it last year and it was OK.

I guess I could do something with a big tarp, but an actual cover sounds easier.

Thanks,
Chris

Chris, I've never heard of such a cover. Mice can get into extremely small spaces, so you probably couldn't get a cover that would fit tightly enough. Also, depending on the material, the mice might eat it. Mothballs are a good way to go. You could also get a guard cat.

Default total car cover

Here is one I found, I'm sure they are not cheap, but it encloses the car.

If you had success with putting moth-***** under & around it last year, I'd just do that again.

Several people use car coon and love it! There is one model with a fan that pushes air through so moisture does not build up inside.

I think if it comes down to the (almost) $500 Car Coon, buying and then locking a cat in the shed all winter, or a bag of mothballs, I think I'll just go with the mothballs.......although I do like the name Car Coon...lol

A mouse would simple chew a hole through whatever to get into your car.

Last year one chewed a hole through my stepmothers shifterboot in her 05 Mustang.

You could cover the entire floor in mouse traps. Be sure to start in a corner so you don't get stuck in one.
