I got a ton of Ford tins and such for the walls, a mustang neon sign, some cool stuff, but those are the finishing things

Ok, so we managed to get walls painted and the moldings done. A little touch up to do but I think pretty good. Its amazing how much brighter it is in there, and we dont even have the floor done or the new lights up yet!!! I would have gotten the floor primed with Lockdown but its the wifes birthday today, so not much work.

Never thought of the garage as a man-cave for some reason... seems like such an oversight, haha. I definitely love this idea and can't wait to see it finished! Getting me inspired to re-do my garage. Love the Boss car cover too!!

Roy_R, your garage looks awesome too! Super clean, I can only imagine those white cabinets covered in black, greasy handprints, lol

I used a degreaser, strong acid from HD (not the crap in the kit), and then sanded the floor...after all that, rinsed it again and let it dry for a few days. Make sure the floor is moisture free, by doing the 2' x 2' sheet of plastic test.

I used the EpoxyShield 2-part water-based epoxy coating

I can't find the sander on the HD website, but it was pretty hardcore, took off at least a mm of cement! You need a mask for this part of the job!!!
