Sweet, thx for the replies. I went ahead with the installation, i helped my mechanic install them and it took us 5 hours since our shop is not exactly designed for exhaust work. We had to do it on the floor and "pain in the ass" is an understatement. The car sounds amazing now and seems that it got louder and better the day after. Here is a video of it, right after the installation.
Stupid me, i forgot to mention that the car is a 2005 Mustang GT with JLT CIA, under drive pullies and 93 octane Dyno tuned. How necessary is to tune it right now? Its gonna cost me and additional $200 |

Now...since you are also installing that x pipe with cat delete you will notice a huge difference in sound and performance.
I noticed a big difference in the sound so far. performance wise, hard to tell but not fair to say yet before tuning it. Lets just say, people stop their conversations and turn their heads to look at the car when i am driving by. I am Loving it so far, and so glad i went ahead with it :) |
You should get your tune adjusted for the cat delete.
Sounds nice. Are you running stock mufflers? |

Sounds nice. Are you running stock mufflers? The video sadly doesn't do the car justice, bad camera. I will get that tune as soon as possible, can't wait to run it. I do 13.2 @ 107 in the quarter, you think its possible to break into the 12.9 with that upgrade? |
Sounds good man!

Now THAT'S how a Mustang should sound! Nicely done! You should definitely have the tune adjusted to make the most of the headers and cat delete.
