It's hard to tell if everything is there other than what he identified (the line from the bottle up to the nitrous management unit). Ask him what this kit came from to get an idea. The picture is so out of focus when I use your link that I can't tell if it has the right connections even.

You will want to add at a minimum a window switch. It prevents you from spraying too low in the rpm. A purge would be good but isn't essential.

And Shadow -- what do you mean by "not the greatest idea"? The fact that it is used, or just the fact he wants to run nitrous? Nitrous isn't dangerous, despite the "fast and furious" and showing cars exploding from nitrous and screams of "nawssssss". Nitrous itself is inert. As long as the car is tuned for nitrous, and you don't spray too low in the rpm the engine will take it. Ran a 75 shot for two years on my car - pulled it for the Xcharger at 90,000 and sold the car at 203,000 miles and it still is running strong.

I suppose as long as its properly installed and tuned it would be fine, but it seems lots of people run into problems due to improper use/install.

Need a step colder spark plugs, window switch, purge, arming switchs, several things, if it helps the bottles are worth about 100. I just sold my kit for 1200 used if that helps you figure out how much you really need to run nitrous safe, ofcourse I also had guages and a upr bottle holder in the deal along with my nano system

On the 4.0 the stock plugs run cold enough - when I was running it Lidio at Alternative Auto tuned it and said there wasn't any need to change from stock. Never had a problem.

One other thought up_yours_7 - find out what the last certification date is on the bottle. They have to recertified every 10 years (I think) or you won't be able to get the bottle filled. Certification is done at a scuba shop usually.

Wish I could have gotten $1200 for my kit when I sold it! I think that I only got $400 for the window switch, purge, heater, and Zex kit.

What about this one. He says he had it on his 2010 hyundai but it was for a fox body mustang. Complete with 75 and 125hp jets all wiring and soleniods.

Not enough information, and the bottle looks to be old too so probably do for certification.

I also suspect that it is a dry kit, which is more common on the fox bodies. You want a wet kit (includes a jet for nitrous as well as gas so you aren't relying on the injectors and computer to recognize the nitrous action and add fuel).

That kit was for a 94 so not sure if it would be dry or wet. The guy says it is a wet kit
