A good set of headphones will do wonders with the playback quality.
Of the choices listed, I would go gt500.
I rode in a 2013 gt with roush a/b's only and it was a drool-fest!
Awesome racey sound, but not overpowering imo...and yea, I would pony
up for the roush if it were me.

I know they're a little priceier than some, but Corsa makes one hell of an axel back system.
Worth saving a little longer for. A huge plus, NO DRONE.

I haven't heard the GT500 mufflers on a GT in real life, but from what i've heard on YouTube (and I know, YouTube doesn't do performance exhaust setups any justice) I like the sound of the GT500's on a GT. As others have said, the Roush stuff sounds wicked, and as I recall, Corsa makes some great stuff too, but if you ever set your budget aside and want your Mustang to sound like it is truely meant to sound, i'd have to say Borla.

For me personally, i'm definately waiting for a Borla ATAK cat-back on my new 5.0, it's ridiculously expensive, but it's the best sound money can buy for a new 5.0 IMO.

True. They give you a good idea of the difference between mufflers though.

Here's my bone-stock 2013 GT premium:

Here is a guy with 2013 GT500 mufflers installed on a 2013 GT:

I'm not even going to bother posting flowmasters, I just don't think they compare, on YouTube or in real life.

I personally have the Borla S Type Axlebacks and they truly wake up the car. Although I was aiming for a loud, muscle tone, at highway speeds in 6th gear, you can hardly notice them unless you want to hear them scream. I understand wanting to try to be quiet for the neighbors, which is why I typically shift into 2nd around 1500rpms and cruise until I'm out of the neighborhood. After installing the Borla, I took a 1300mi trip to SoCal and absolutely fell in love with this exhaust. I purchased mine for $650 when AM price matched it through another website when AM had them for around $759 so shop around before to get the best deal. Good luck!

Based on your choices, I've got to say I've heard nothing but great things about the GT500 style mufflers.

The mufflers in that second clip below do not look like the GT500s (or any GT500s I have seen). The video title does say GT500 though. What's up? Are those 2013 only - with the dual tips on both sides? Just curious.
