Well ****....
On my way home last night wound up being a dumbass and fishtailed from a start and went into a sign sideways and spun my car 180.
passenger fender is thrashed, same with bumper, hood looks fine.
However I couldnt move the shifter after i came to a stop, seems the drivetrain might have moved alitle. The Wheel might have hit on the sign/dug in the ground when I spun. Did that cause this problem, how much $ am i looking at

Don't brake when the car starts to fishtail....power out of it with opposite steering!

Looks like that front took a pretty good hit. I ran my '08 up on a curb avoiding a crazy woman and had to replace the K-member to get it back in alignment. Just scratched the wheel. Only a shop can find damage like that. It could be part of your problem.

Might have moved/cocked/bent the K member and moved the motor and tranny. Likely the control arm got jammed when the wheel hit or dug in. Its the only way I can see an impact causing the shifter to bind
