Default New minor mod

Some of you may recall that I posted a poll-thread a few months back asking for suggestions between a chrome gas cap and mirror covers. Well I decided to go with the chrome gas cap. I installed it in about 15 minutes last Saturday, but the Stang was filthy, which was why I waited to wash the car first before posting pics. I know many of you aren't fans of chrome parts or gas caps, but I'd still like to see some thoughts/opinions on this. Personally, I love it!

Some of you may also recall that a few months back I posted another thread where I posted pics of my scratched hood. Well yesterday I spent the whole day giving the pony a loooooooong overdue waxing; I whipped out the Turtle Wax Black Box and gave it a body-punishing (for me, my whole body is sore ) well deserved hand wax. It definitely kicked my behind, but I went from 9:30am to about 7pm washing it from inside-out. I'll just post the pics and let the results speak for themselves.

Great job on the waxing! Hood looks much better.

Not a fan of the gas cap though - I'm one of those no chrome guys. If you like it - that's all that matters.

Not a chrome fan either, but it looks pretty good. Nice job, keep it like that if you like it

Hood is looking good man!

I admire the fact that you haven't plasti-dipped your wheels. Looks fresh.

I'm not a fan of too much chrome either, but it does go good with black. Now you should find some wheels to match the chrome gas cap.

Thanks! All the minor blemishes are all gone. Thanks for the honest opinion as well!

Thanks! I agree. I actually did plastidip my wheels like back in April lol. I had to remove it though, I hated how it looked when it was dirty.

Thanks! I'm planning on getting black Bullitts. I recently bought new tires and I just got my very first credit card last week, so I'll wait til these tires say no more. I was planning on getting 20s, but a friend of mine recently put a staggered set of 18s on his and I fell in love! I may just have to go with 18s!

Black bullitts with the chrome or polished lip is exactly what I was thinking would make that car look perfect.

I know black cars are a pain to keep clean, but once they're cleaned and waxed up, nothing beats the look of a shiny black, mirror finish. Nice job!

I'm picturing 07BlackGT's sig pic if he had a chrome fuel door to give me an idea of how it would look like. And I like!

It's like a love-hate relationship lol. I hate how it shows blemishes and dust so quickly, but once I clean her up, I fall in love all over again!
