The driver side door on my 08 stick shut during colder weather. it seems like the power lock doesnt have enough power to open it. maybe due to freezing. the key will open the lock but the power lock will not. anyway to lubricate or fix this problem? maybe very simple im just missing it. tried a couple store bought anti-freeze lock products none worked.

 

Sounds like you need to remove the inside door panel and clean the actuator. Searching will locate the procedure.

Also....a bit more of a descriptive title will result in more help.

 

When you press the remote does it lock "opening" sound like it has asthma? If so you may need a new lock actuator.
