my question is, if I can change just the balljoint. or I have to change the whole lower control arm.??
I have a 17-inch wheels.
These are good balljoint???

You can just change the ball joints by themselves. I did and its cheaper. Some people prefer to do the whole A-arm. Its your choice.

I'm not sure who manufactures those, but you can just replace the ball joints. You'll need to press out the old and press in the new using a hydraulic press.

In the US, Moog is one of the best int he business for ball joints. Many people just replace the whole lower control arm with gt500 control arms which come with stronger ball joints. That is the route I'm going to take.

I'd change both sides at the same time.

I would Just do the whole A-arm. If the ball joint is shot, it's put extra wear/tear on the soft rubber bushing on the rear of the A-arm. THe FRPP a-arms have upgraded ball joints and bushings (Same as those of the '09 GT-500).

When my ball joint went I just went with the GT500 arms. Thing is they have increased in price by like $100, so you might as well go with a BMR tubular one for a bit more.

Or you can just replace the ball joint like others have said, but I read a few horror stories on it so I just decided to upgrade.

I noticed that! They are like $130 more than they were just a year ago.

Yea, my buddies ball joint went and I told him to get the GT500 ones. He sends me a link and they were like $380 and I was like WTF?

I should of gotten like 10 sets, it would of been an investment!

The lower ball joints on my '08 went bad at around 15-20,000 miles. I'll bet that there are a whole lot of bad ball joints out there. Went with BMR- no complaints for the next 45,000.

I got my gt500 LCA's off ebay last year for about $250. Sorta a pain to swap out but had no choice. The clunk was killing me. Car sounded like the biggest POS ever. Now its perfect. Try eBay over the normal stang sites.
