Well, I didn't want to be the dumba55 who's first post was "Nice Car". So here's the long story on how I got here. And I hope my wife doesn't read this, or else I'm up a creek for Christmas. My wife and I are both in the service. She's stationed in Dallas, i'm up here in Washington. The last time I went to see her, we rented a black 05 Mustang for the weekend (one heck of a test drive). She liked it, I liked it, so in order to actually make a incentive to buy one, I told her that when she got promoted, I'd buy her one. Three days later, her CO called and told her to put on E-6. CRAP, I thought I had a few months at least. SO, I'm back at the homeport, and I get the list. I want a Mustang GT Premium, Windveil Blue (which seems to be the most UNPOPULAR color here, LOL), and all the hookups/accessories etc etc. Realizing that we are both transferring to San Diego 28 Dec., I tell her its going to be too expensive, lets wait until we are all settled, basically selling her on NOT getting one (blasphemy!). However, its all part of the plan. We soon get underway, and lo and behold, the Navy Autosource people show up, and I place my order, for the 2006 GT, set for delivery 28 November. Sweet, all I have to do is hide it for a couple of weeks (somewhere on base with a car cover, no biggie). Well, I must have pee'd in someones Cheerios, because yesterday I get an email that because of production issues, I'm not going to get it until DECEMBER 30!!! I was steaming mad! There goes Christmas! So I got on the internet looking up stuff on the Mustang to see if there were any similar Mustang setbacks on delivery, and thats how I got here. This seems to be the most tightknit Mustang site, and I loved the pictures that you all took of your babies. So, here's my superNOOB/totally off the wall question. Do they make a Hot Wheel 2005/2006 Mustang? If they do, I'm going to get one, wrap it up, and put a blank key with a Mustang Fob with it, and the purchase order in an envelope with it to give to her.

Yeah they do, check Ebay under Mustang Diecast, you should be able to find an 05 Hot Wheels model.
