i'm deciding to replace my gray stripes on my 2008 shelby gt500 including the side stripes with the gt500 lettering. now i was debating whether to go with red stripes or matte black. if i do decide to go with the red, my embles and lettering will all be red and if i decided to go with matte black i wanted to paint the front lip all the way around to the rear diffuser with matte black. just wanted you guys opinion on the matter.

 

man, it looks good as is, i wouldn't change it.

matte black will be ... somewhat similar, but more subtle. red will be very flashy. all three options, look great, you just have to figure out what you really want.. more flash or a subtle change?

Your car is sick. Looks great as is, and would look great with red or matte black. If it was mine, I would probably go matte black. You really can't go wrong either way though. Grey looks great too.

that's my dilemma I've seen some with red stripes online but never a matte black tho.

I agree either keep as is or matt black personally i think your color combo is as good as it gets!

 

I would stick with the grey before considering the pita that is matte striping!
Red, now that's a different matter. Check out member SleeperGT's ride with those reflective red stripes on black...total hottness!

 

My matte black stripes on my black 2010 dont look too much different than that. Yours look damn good to me, doesn't seem worth the effort?
