Default Finally getting a 2013 Mustang 5.0 GT. One question Manual or Automatic

Finally getting a 2013 Mustang 5.0 GT Convertible Red Candy to replace my 2007 Mustang V6 Convertible Redfire Automatic lost in hurricane Sandy. One question Automatic or Manual. Never driven Manual, but also I want to know if I been driving automatic all my life will it be easy for me to drive stick shift. Also am I going to enjoy the V8 sound I will be getting. Will I be drooling everyday. Just saying lol.

you've never driven an automatic, but you're replacing an automatic?

yes, get a manual.
yes you'll like the v8 sound.

is this just a thread you're making out of excitement?

Yes, get a manual!
I am sure you will be stoked with the V8 exhaust tone!

You can get used to the stick, however, as an owner of a 2013 with the new 6 sp. select/shift with sport mode, I can tell you that it's a fantastic driving car. I recommend you test drive both and give it serious thought, esp. if you like a relaxing commute!

Weekend/secondary fun car = manual
Daily driver/commute = auto

Manual all the way if you ask me. Any automatic in my garage will not be a Mustang/Camaro/Corvette type of car. It defeats the purpose IMHO.

What about the automatic shift select feature. Does that act like stick shift.
